Beyond the Rift are a series of doodle-comics drawn by Beka Rose Lee on a Bamboo Fun tablet (named Martha) in Corel Painter Essentials 4, and inspired by the Beyond the Rift RPG and the BtR AIM chat.
TOPH & Some Other People is an ongoing series of comics within BtR chronicling the adventures of Toph Bei Fong in Chicago. I blame this on the fact that Toph is the most fun to draw.
Adventures in the “Real World” ™ are separate from the BtR comics (though they might reference the events within them), and are the wacky hijinks of those kooks who play in the BtR RPG. This includes the creator of the comics herself (GASP).
There is of yet no real plot, timeline, or adherence to the source material - it’s just a bunch of one-off comics created to entertain the Rift muns, and to give Beka a reason to practice her doodling and to get her money’s worth from the previously-mentioned tablet. This is, of course, subject to change.
